Struggling to get noticed?
You know what it's like to look for a new job or a new client. It is so darn hard to get noticed! You tweak your resume 5 million times in hopes it will get picked out of the stack. Or you re-write your Instragram post over and over all the while hoping that your future client will hire you.

Avoid the biggest mistake people make
The biggest mistake people make when they’re looking for a new job or new business is that they’re not networking. They’re not using the relationships they have or actively trying to gain new ones.
There are two main reasons why people don’t network:
- They think there’s a right way to do it, and they don’t know what the heck that is.
- They don’t want to bother people.
This is why I avoided networking for years. I thought that I was awkward, and I never knew what to say.
Here's the truth. By NOT networking you're increasing the time to getting your next job or next client by 4, 5, or 6 months or even longer.
What if you could cut that time in half?
You don't have to say the "right" things.
When it comes to networking, I don’t believe that there even is a “right” thing to say. You can still get a new job or your next client without having to do it perfectly or follow some made-up script. People just need to know who you are and how you can help them.
Practice meeting new people, to learn how to be engaging in conversation, and to get comfortable talking about who you are and what you do.
